At Emfuleni you could never be bored. Whatever your taste, you will be well catered for. For those who just wish to relax, the peace and serenity of the Berg has been made especially for you. For the serious backpacker, there are numerous one, two and three day hikes starting in the area. For the casual hiker, there are two, four, and six-hour hikes starting from Emfuleni.

Emfuleni is just the place when you need to dangle your feet in a fresh mountain stream or sip the clear, cool water. Maybe you just want to sit and watch your reflection in the quiet little pools formed off the mainstream, or maybe you want to watch a leaf as it rushes by in its quest to find the end of the stream, very much like us, rushing to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

In the evening you may choose to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal or sneak off to one of the local restaurants for a candlelit dinner in the inevitable country atmosphere of the Berg resorts.

Within walking distance is the Drakensberg Sun hotel and within ten minutes drive is the Champagne Sports resort or the Monks Cowl Tavern, each offering its own style of hospitality.
