The water is delicious, fresh and very clean. Just below Emfuleni the water is pumped from the river up to the top of the hill. During the summer the river is fed from the ample rain that falls and in the winter it is fed from melting snow on the mountains. Up the hill it goes through a water processing plant for purification, monitoring of ecoli levels etc and is fed directly into the water system of the homes in the estate. An interesting phenomenon is that if you are a black coffee drinker, your reliable coffee brand from home may taste different due to the different taste of the water. If that is something you want to avoid bring bottled water, or buy locally. HOWEVER the quality of the water is excellent and soft... lots of foam from your shampoo....
